We ensure your gown fits like a glove. Our standard services include precision hemming, taking in or letting out the bodice, custom cup placement, and creating the perfect, secure bustle.
We are not accepting outside alterations at this time.

Want to make your dress uniquely yours? Our master seamstresses specialize in custom modifications, including building sleeves, adding straps, lowering the back, or completely redesigning the neckline.

Expert tailoring for Mother of the Bride or Mother of the Groom gowns to ensure you feel comfortable and confident all night long.

Bring your dress, shoes, and undergarments! Our seamstress will pin the gown, answer your questions, and provide exact pricing. (If you proceed with us, this $50 is credited toward your final alterations fee).

1st Fitting
6-8 weeks before event date
Consult one-on-one with your seamstress to discuss your exact vision. In this 20-minute appointment, we will pin the dress to your exact shape.
Important: You must bring the exact shoes, undergarments, and any extra materials (lace, buttons) you plan to wear on the big day! Also, any changes to future measurements must be mentioned.

Final Fitting & Pick Up
2-3 weeks before event date
Your dress is finished! You will try it on one last time to ensure absolute perfection. We will also teach you (and a trusted friend or family member) exactly how to bustle your dress for the reception.

Scheduling
Don’t wait! Our seamstresses are in high demand, and our alterations calendar fills up months in advance. Fittings are by appointment only and are available on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. To secure your spot, you must contact us via call, email or text. We do not offer online scheduling.

We are happy to offer alterations on dresses purchased elsewhere on a case-by-case basis. Please email or call to inquire for availability.
(Please note: Due to their specific internal construction and fabric types, we do not provide alteration services for garments purchased from fast-fashion or online-only retailers such as JJ's House, Azazie, etc.)

Most brides require two to three fittings to achieve the perfect fit. Your first fitting involves the heavy pinning and structural changes. Your final fitting is to try the finished gown on and learn how to bustle it! If you are doing complex custom work, you may require a third fitting.

If your wedding dress has a train, you will definitely need a bustle! A bustle is a custom series of hidden hooks, buttons, or ribbons that lift and secure your train off the floor so you can safely walk and dance at your reception. Our seamstresses will design a bustle that beautifully complements the specific style of your gown.

This is incredibly common, but communication is key! Please let our team know your goals when scheduling your appointment or during your very first fitting.
The Process: If you are actively losing weight, we can schedule an additional fitting to re-check the pins and your measurements before our seamstresses do any actual cutting or sewing.
The Policy: If we are not notified of your weight loss and your dress requires significant re-working or taking in at your follow-up fitting, it will incur additional alteration fees.
(Please also note: taking a dress in by more than 2 to 3 sizes changes the structural integrity of the gown and may require a custom redesign).

Yes! When you come in for your final pick-up fitting, your dress will be beautifully pressed, steamed, and packed in an opaque garment bag, ready for your wedding day.

Because every dress and body is unique, the cost of tailoring is based entirely on the complexity of the gown, the delicacy of the fabrics, and the hours of expert manual labor required.
(Please note: The original purchase price of your dress does not dictate the cost of alterations).

Payment Policy: Alteration fees are strictly non-negotiable. If you would like a firm quote before committing, we offer a Consultation Appointment for $50 (which is credited toward your total if you choose to book with us). Full payment for all alterations is due at your final pick-up fitting.

Payment for your alterations is due in full at your final pick-up fitting. Once your dress fits perfectly and is ready to go home with you for the big day, we will process your final payment!
